Is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro the GOAT?

       Undoubtedly Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro has shown over time that he's one of the greatest soccer players and has been compared with his greatest soccer counterpart Lionel Messi but is he really the greatest of all times.

Recently he took the tally of his international goals to 94goals.

We look at his unique innumerable attributes that makes him standout as a star:


Cristiano Ronaldo has shown leadership on numerous occasion, during his days in Real Madrid he contributed enormously to the relevancy of Real Madrid in Europe, his contributions were evidently seen in the number of goals and sacrifices he's made during his days at the club.

He helped the Merengues win Europe's most prestigious trophy whichbis the Champions League back to back between the year 2016, 2017 and went on to help them win it in 2018 making Real Madrid the first club side to win it three times on a roll.

He continued his magic with Juventus when he joined them last season and also helped them to win the serie A and the coppa Italia cup.

His leadership traits came into a brighter limelight during his country's final match against France in Euro 2016, a match in which he was injured and couldn't continue the match, an ordinary player with no leadership traits would have given up of getting anything out of the match but not Ronaldo, he continued the match on the coach's side shouting instructions to his teammates on the pitch, Portugal went on to win that competition.


He's the highest goalscorer of all times in Europe with 94 international goals and he's second to only Ali Daei an Iranian retired footballer. Before C.Ronaldo joined his national team they have gone 82 years without reaching a final in international competitions, he went on taking them to 3 finals and ended up winning 2 out of the three finals.

Also Ronaldo has single-handedly saved  his country on numerous occasions notably the match against Sweden in 2014 in which he scored an hat-trick and consequently taking Portugal to the world cup.


Ronaldo has always saved  the day on numerous occasions, he had saved Real Madrid on different occasions notably in the champions league, saving  Portugal is what he does, match in match out and he has extended his saving traits to Juventus and he saved them against Atletico in the Champions League last season.
